PsyFi is an Android application designed to help people determine whether they or someone they know have symptoms of any of the widely prevalent mental illnesses in India and connects them to appropriate healthcare professionals.
The screening is done through a series of questions which will identify the likely illness category.
We then connect the users with a psychiatrist/psychologist/counselor/ healthcare center.
They can take the result of this questionnaire in to consideration to arrive at the final diagnosis.
It is important to emphasize that the app is only a means for screening of symptoms, and not a provider of medical diagnosis.
The app also provides a list of mental health care professionals and a GPS feature to locate them.
The app also educates users on the protections and benefits, accorded under the law, to those suffering from mental illness.
We provide our users a counselling center in Bangalore (Viveka).
